We welcome anyone who is willing to support our candidates as a member of the local Democratic Committee.

One way committee members support our efforts is through payment of membership dues. Dues are a critical part of the committee budget and are used to help support candidates, sponsor events and activities, and connect with voters to grow the party.

There are two ways to pay your dues to join the committee:

• Online through ActBlue
• Download the membership form and send it with a check to: Albemarle County Democratic Party, PO Box 5698, Charlottesville, VA 22905.

Our focus in 2011 is our local races–re-electing our Democratic incumbents including Ann Mallek and Denise Lunsford, and all our other great candidates for local office–as well as re-electing Del. David Toscano and Sen. Creigh Deeds to the General Assembly.

Even If you’re not ready to join the committee, we still want and need your help.  Sign up to volunteer for this year’s campaigns or add your name to our email list to keep informed about upcoming events or to volunteer with the party.
